Introduction To Journaling In this session we will start by discussing what journaling and defining it then learning about the range of benefits journaling may have upon your health and well-being. We will then finish the session by writing a positively focussed journal entry a try and discussing this experience with the group if you feel comfortable. Self Perception/Wellbeing
Introduction To Community Roots If you have ever wondered what LSCFT Community Roots is and how you can benefit from the wide variety of free wellbeing sessions delivered via community roots and our local Partners, this session will provide an overview and introduction. During the session we will highlight community roots is, our person-centered approach and the importance of lived experience and co-production. This is a great opportunity to meet the team and ask any questions before beginning your learner journey with us Belonging
Heightened Sensitivity Having heightened sensitivity can mean you’re a compassionate, thoughtful and loyal person. This session aims to cover what heightened sensitivity is and the current literature around this to understand why and how people are more sensitive than others and why it isn’t a bad thing. This session encourages you to share your story as we hear examples of others living as a heightened sensitivity person and what the professionals say about it. Choice/Wellbeing
Approved Mental Health Professionals Have you ever heard of an approved mental health professional or come across this role and wonder what they do? This two part session will give you an understanding of what the role involves and how approved mental health professionals work in the mental health care sector. In the first session we will cover who an approved mental health professional is, what they do and explore the role. We will explore some shared stories from professionals and briefly touch on the mental health act. The second session will go on to cover team working under the role of an approved mental health professional, explore the person-centred approach with an activity and finish with how the role is made to empower individuals. This session also covers how you can share your story through the trust, community Roots LSCFT values lived experiences and understands the benefits sharing a story can have on wellbeing. Wellbeing
Nature & Wellbeing Gardening has many positive influences on health and wellbeing. Join us with the wildlife trust to get involved. We run alongside Lancashire wildlife trust, gardening group at the Chai Centre. Gardening is a great way to relax and has many well-being benefits including reduced anxiety and increased self esteem. With regular gardening you can begin to see the physical and mental well being benefits and strengthen community bonds. Activity
